How I Got Her: I went to the Denver store grand opening with a bunch of my friends. I desperately wanted a doll. I don't think I would have found AG if it weren't for the grand opening. My mom forgot to give me my money. Then one of my friends' moms called my mom. She bought me the doll and I payed her back that night.
Her Charitable Effort of Choice Is: To help abused animals. The business she hopes to open up will be called "Reece's Seams." She will sell designer clothes and 25% of profit will go to a charity that supports abused animals.
More About Her: This is Reece. Recce is one of those incredibly creative girls. She loves drawing, sewing, and working with clay. She also likes horseback riding. But overall she loves writing and art. She is my first doll.

How I got Her: It was around 5:50 am on Christmas. I opened gifts around the tree. She was my last gift I opened. I suspected that the gift was an AG doll. And it was!
Her Charitable Effort of Choice Is: Helping out at soup kitchens and performing in front of shelter families. Her dream business will be called "Holly's Hopeful Treats." She wills sell food for AG Dolls. She will give 25% of profit to a charity that provides meals for home-less families.
More About Her: This is Holly Marie-Grace Clue. Holly was a Christmas gift from Santa in 2011. She was welcomed warmly.She was the Marie-Grace doll but I wanted to change her name. She loves to bake and help others or assist in charity.

I'm not a fan on My Twinn either. I prefer American Girl as well! They're very different so I don't believe either ripped off the other. Size, face, and most features seem different to me. So it is my belief that they didn't rip off one or the other.

How old are u do u no that I saw a Samantha doll on eBay for $1000 and the people apparently wanted 200$&78$ sorry I meant 278. Bucks shipping and I wanted Julie 4 Xmas but my mom and ddad said no cause I already have 4 dolls and said why do ubwant another one ur 13 can't u think about some thing besides these stupid dolls how can I tell them this really hurt without hurting my Parents?
ReplyDeleteI'm a teen (I won't be specific for safety reasons. That is outrageous for Samantha. Tell your parents that you'll always love dolls. Also have a good grades and be re3aly good, maybe you can convince them? Merry Christmas!

ok so im so upset my parents didnt get me Julie 4 xmas they said what do you wanrt i said i want julie they said why are u asking 4 a doll ur 13 dont u want sompthin else isaid no and id even be happy if she was the only thing i got 4 x mas then after christmas they were like the stuff u got isnt that beter then julie so i had to lie and say yes i feel so ashamed to love my dolls at 13 what should i do? i once even saw an american girl place ad on the paper and told my mom (who was in her 20s btw when the dolls came out in 1986)i wish i can go there 1 day and she gave me this look. i mean dont get me wrong my parents are really really nice people but i really had my whole heart set on this doll. i mean i do relize its january 26 but still. how do i convince them? i do have 4 already, one they sorta got me 4 nothing. and is there really something wrong with this? and every one in 8th grade makes fun of me EVERYONE!!!!!

ReplyDeleteyeah. well i don't play with mine. They are my models and just dolls. Not toys to me now. :(. I can't think of stuff to do with them and it's just not as fun. Still love them! But I don't play so much as I used to. I don't really boast about my doll love, I kinda hide it, but I do like them.
