Hey y'all! Reece here, yet again, today I'm gonna teach you a craft for a baking apron.
Needed Materials
*Apron pattern. Here is the link: http://allaboutamericangirl.blogspot.com/2010/12/american-girl-apron-craft.html. I do not own that pattern or blog...there are 2 patterns I've rounded the top of mine off.
*Some fabric, cotton will work best
*Ribbon
*Extra fabric for a pocket, not on pattern, but I'll walk you through it
*Hot glue or, I recommend, a sewing machine
*Silk flowers and leafs (optional)*Buttons that relate to cooking (optional)
Basic Instructions For Apron
1. Cut out apron pattern and put it on the fabric.
2. Cut out the apron in fabric.4. Only two more steps! Now we must add straps and a tie on the waist. I will be sizing an American Girl doll, but a skinnier doll may require shorter ribbons. For the waist, cut a piece of ribbon or string that is 12 inches long. For the ties cut two pieces of ribbon that are both about 5 inches long. This length should allow enough ribbon to tie a bow in the back on both. To hide where the ends were glued on the higher area you can glue buttons on over the ends.
5. Now design the apron. Make it however you want. If you want a cooking themed apron use cooking themed designs. If you want a more classic baking one I recommend leaving it simple.
Here is mine when it is completed:
I hope you enjoyed this craft! Check back over the next few days, on the 10th I'll have video craft I found on YouTube, kinda like a spotlight video. Tomorrow's post is awseome! Any comments or questions, comment on this post. (Please check out the diary on this page!)

Day 8 of 24 On The Countdown To Christmas (Can you believe it? The year has gone by so fast!)
Oh and I previously said that this signature would change, well I haven't gotten around to it so I'll change it after Christmas.
